Kick Butts Day for a Tobacco Free Future

Kick-butts-day

This March 19th is the annual observance of Kick Butts Day, an initiative by the Campaign for Tobacoo-Free Kids to protect kids from tobacco. There is no better time to remind family, friends, and community leaders about the long-term health and social effects of smoking–which claims more than 400,000 lives in the US every year and remains the leading cause of preventable death.

Kick Butts Day started in 1996 and has grown as a national day of activism by empowering youth to raise awareness about the tobacco problem. The goal is to support effective solutions to reduce tobacco use through thousands of events in schools and communities worldwide.
